All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold passport and valid visa. Visa can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad. Visa is also issued at the entry points. Visa can be extended at the Department of Immigration, Bhrikutimandap, and Kathmandu. Children under 10 years need not pay any visa fee.
The best seasons to travel in Nepal are Autumn, from early October until early December and Spring, from the beginning of March until the end of April. Summer season in Nepal , from June to September, is the monsoon. Trekking at this time will be generally difficult and uncomfortable and it rains almost every day.

After that, continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhists in Nepal, Boudhanath. A revered place, Boudhanath has a large ‘Stupa’, which is visited by devout Buddhists pilgrims. After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing trip to City Durbar Square. This square is famous for old palaces, temples, Kumari Ghar and others. Proceed to Swayambhunath, a famous world heritage site with magnificent views of the Kathmandu valley. Spend time at the local markets to do your own shopping later in the day. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out the hotel and take a transfer to the airport.
