Chandrabhaga beach of Konark is one of the best virgin beach of India. The beach is very close to the Konark temple which is 65 km from Bhubaneswar and 35 40 km from the holy city of Puri.

During the seventh day of Magha at the beach for seven days a fair is held in honor of the sun god, who is said to have cured Krishna’s son Shambhu from leprosy.
